As the temperature further increases, the resistivity begins to increase, and the magnitude of the increase becomes increasingly higher. The maximum operating temperature of silicon carbide rods cannot exceed 1450 ° C. If the operating temperature exceeds this value, silicon carbide rods will rapidly age and their service life will be seriously affected.
