U type Mosi2 Heating elemet
U-shaped silicon-molybdenum rods are high-performance heating elements widely used in high-temperature industrial applications, such as metallurgy, glass processing, and ceramic firing. Composed mainly of molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂), these rods are formed through high-temperature extrusion and sintering. The distinctive U-shape allows for easy installation on furnace walls, maximizing heat radiation area and simplifying replacement procedures.
These rods offer excellent high-temperature resistance, with a maximum operating temperature reaching 1700°C. Their surface forms a dense silicon dioxide protective layer upon heating, effectively preventing oxidation and ensuring long-term stability. Additionally, they feature rapid heating capabilities and high thermal efficiency, significantly reducing energy consumption. Chemically stable and resistant to acids and alkalis, U-shaped silicon-molybdenum rods combine robust mechanical strength with extended service life.
